Blue look in summer is just perfect, isn’t it?

Blue is such a cool and calm colour, I love to watch the sky with all blue colour chaos it holds, it instantly soothes me.

Makeup is an art and I love experimenting with it!

I created this really cool blue eye makeup look a few days ago and you can create it for a summer party or beach vacay with all the blue vibes!

So, let me just quickly jot down the details for the look,

As it is a summer look, You definitely don’t want too much makeup on your face and so, you can keep it as minimal as possible.

Face – I have moisturized my face with Lakme serum and used Neutrogena Sunscreen with SPF 50 as I definitely don’t want my skin to get tanned. These two steps are really important and you must follow even if you are applying makeup or not. For my base makeup, I have used Maybelline FIT Me foundation -128  but for the hot summer you can use any BB cream instead for a light and sheer coverage, next I have used Deborah Milano dress me perfect Concealer – 01 under my eyes and some acne blemishes on the cheeks.

To bake and set my face, I have used Maybelline White Superfresh Compact – pearl, it is really affordable and works great. Next, For my cheeks I have used MAC sheer tone blush in the shade – DollyMix, it has a pink colour tone, I have only used little for that natural pink blush on cheeks. I have used The Balm Mary-Lou highlighter for highlighting on the bridge of my nose, cupid’s bow, brows, and top of my cheeks.  

Eyes – I was in the mood for something cool and bluish tones for my eyes. I started the eye look by using eye primer, it really helps in building up your colour and eyeshadow pigment, I have used the MyGlamm 3 in 1 eyeshadow palette, it has an eye primer, a deep blue shimmery colour and a light gold shade which can be used as an eyeshadow as well as highlighter.

I started by using the blue shadow in the crease of the eye and I used another sky bluish and purple shade from NYX Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette and started applying it at the inner corner of the eyes and in the middle of the eyes and then you know the drill – blend it till you make it!

I smudged the same colours on the lower eye line, created winged eyeliner with Maybelline gel black liner and Coloressence liquid ink stylo eyeliner and for the lashes, I have used mascara – Lakme eyeconic mascara and for a more intense lash look, I have used fake lashes from PAC Cosmetics

For the brows, I have used MAC eyebrow styler in the brown shade and gently filled my brows with light and neat strokes. 

Makeup Tip: always try to balance it all, if eye makeup is bold, use light/nude lip colour and if eye makeup is light and subtle, use dark lip colour.

Lip – For this look, as my eye makeup is catchy, I have used a light pink lip colour from Nykaa So Matte Mini lipstick – 04M

Lastly, I have used Lotus Herbals Makeup Finishing spray to lock down all the makeup so, it won’t melt in this blazing heat.
