We don’t know when the corona situation will get better, we can only hope for good and try to adjust to the new normal life and lastly, stay at home for our wellbeing and safety. 

Well, I know staying at home can be quite boring for some of you but not to worry as you have ZEE5 to your resort.

So, recently ZEE5 has added some amazing regional tele series which you can watch and enjoy. As for me, I am a big fan of south Indian movies/series, I always love their originality, direction, screenplay and acting. If you must have noticed – Bollywood lacks the creativity and usually always copies south Indian flicks. 

I watched Vettai a few days back on ZEE5 and really loved it for various reasons and so, I thought to share a mini-review on the tele series. Firstly, it’s a Tamil series named ‘VETTAI’ it means hunting in English and the much loved Tamil series was firstly aired in Singapore and after a super-duper hit, now it’s available for Indian users on ZEE5 streaming platform. 

Abbas Akbar and Anuradha Kanderaju created ‘Vettai’ the police chasing and hunting drama. It is written by Jaya Rathakrishnan and the action-packed series stars Sathish, Shabir, Gunalan Morgan, Gayathri Segaran, Arvind Naidu, Eswari Gunasagar, Rishi Kumar in main roles and Vettai is one of the most loved, most watched tele series in Singapore, It has even won several awards in “Most popular series”, Shabir has won “Best actor role”, Gunalan has won “Most popular male personality” and Gayathiri has won “Most popular female personality” at the 2011 Pradhana Vizha Awards. It is originally produced in Tamil language and has 4 seasons.

The series showcases a valiant and courageous team of talented cops solving real-life cases of Overseas Indians, also known as NRIs and a deadly clash with a drug mafia group. The heroic team works together to solve heinous crimes and extreme cases like murder, kidnapping, sexual abuse and harassment, they try to find and solve these cases but a twist comes up when their personal problems start juggling with their professional lives and it leads to some terrible outcomes. It is an action-packed, mysterious crime drama, thriller series which holds our attention in every way and the characters have been portrayed very aptly, it has a total of 72 binge-worthy episodes, I enjoyed watching the series and if you are into south Indian flicks, I would recommend you to watch it once as you’ll enjoy!
